About the clientCOFFEE TO GO, DIGITISED

Coffee House is one of Armenia's largest coffee shop chains: 57 sites and a fast coffee-to-go model, where speed of service and a returning guest matter more than average spend.

Today the chain’s digital ecosystem holds over 220 thousand registered guests, and its own mobile app has become the main pre-ordering channel. Coffee House has always competed not just on the number of sites, but on the quality of the guest experience.

Once the chain outgrew dozens of coffee shops it became clear that keeping the guest ‘on plastic’ and across scattered tools was no longer viable. What was needed was a platform to bring pre-ordering, loyalty and guest communication into a single digital channel under the chain’s own brand. That platform became Eatery Club.

BackgroundWHY THE CHAIN NEEDED ITS OWN DIGITAL CHANNEL

In coffee-to-go the business runs on footfall and repeat visits. That is exactly where the bottlenecks were building up.

01
Queues at peak hours
Morning and lunch traffic ran into the speed of the till. A guest in a hurry simply walks to the coffee shop next door.
02
Loyalty without data
The programme ran on scattered mechanics and gave no single picture: who comes back, how often, what they buy.
03
No digital channel of its own
Guest communication stayed offline — a chain of 57 sites had no direct way to push offers and new items.
04
Manual work at the till boundary
Any menu or price drift between the app and the POS meant errors and extra work for staff.

WHAT THE PLATFORM HAD TO DELIVER

  • Coffee-to-go pre-ordering in the chain’s own app — to relieve the peak and cut waiting
  • A single loyalty programme with clear rules for earning and spending points
  • iOS and Android under the chain’s brand, not inside someone else’s aggregator
  • Multiple languages — Armenian, Russian, English — managed per platform
  • Integration with the Syrve till system, with no manual re-entry of orders or menu

WHY EATERY CLUB

  • Ready-made branded iOS and Android apps — no mobile development from scratch
  • Loyalty out of the box: points, referral mechanics, guest card
  • Syrve integration: orders and items sync with the till automatically
  • Fast implementation — one menu deploys to dozens of sites at once
  • Content flexibility: stories, emoji, promo mechanics and a multilingual interface

How the roll-out wentDATA AND PROCESS · 57 COFFEE SHOPS

Rolling a platform out to a chain of 57 coffee shops is first of all work on data and process, not just an app launch.

01

One menu + Syrve

Items, prices and modifiers were brought to a single form, so the app and the till always show the same thing.

02

Loyalty and pre-ordering

We set up the rules for earning and spending points and the referral mechanics; collection is the primary service type.

03

Store releases

Preparing the iOS and Android builds, review and market customisation — including managing languages per platform.

04

Content tools

In parallel we set up stories and promo mechanics — a direct channel to the guest.

The most valuable capabilitiesAN ECOSYSTEM FOR KEEPING GUESTS

The roll-out did not stop at a 'mobile menu' — the chain gained an ecosystem for keeping guests.

01
Branded iOS and Android apps
The chain’s own pre-ordering channel under the Coffee House brand instead of a presence inside someone else’s aggregator. The app became the main digital channel: iOS accounts for ~91% of orders.
02
Loyalty with points and referrals
One guest card, transparent earning and spending. Over the year guests spent 63% of the points they earned — the mechanic genuinely brings people back to the coffee shops rather than sitting as a dead balance.
03
Coffee-to-go pre-ordering — pickup-first
The model is built for grab-and-go: the guest orders ahead and collects without queuing. 100% of orders are collection, which takes the load off the till at peak.
04
Syrve POS integration
Orders from the app reach the till automatically, menu and prices stay in sync — no manual entry, no discrepancies.
05
Multiple languages and content
An interface in several languages managed per platform, plus stories and promo mechanics for direct communication with a base of 220 thousand guests.

What's nextPLANS FOR THE CHAIN AND THE PLATFORM

Coffee House keeps building out its digital ecosystem: ahead lie the move to the new app design 3.0 and further expansion of the chain. The platform gives them the groundwork: one menu and loyalty scale easily to new sites, while content tools raise visit frequency without adding load on staff.

How many seconds does a guest wait for coffee at yours?

Your questions — our answers

How this works in your chain

Why exactly 90 seconds — what makes it that fast?
Ordering and payment happen in the app before the guest even walks in: the receipt goes straight into Syrve and the barista starts early. All that is left is to pick the coffee up at the bar — past the till, no queue. At the morning peak that is 1:30 instead of 4:30 at the counter.
How does the order reach the bar — is separate hardware needed?
No. Eatery Club integrates with your till system — at Coffee House that is Syrve. The order arrives there as an ordinary receipt: drink, milk, syrup, time. The barista works in the familiar interface; no extra tablets or second screen are needed.
Does this work without delivery — collection only?
Yes. The Coffee House case is 100% pickup: 481,515 coffee-to-go orders in a year across 57 coffee shops. The ‘order on the way, collect at the bar’ scenario is switched on separately; delivery and table ordering can be left off.
Do points really bring guests back?
The loyalty programme lives in the same app: points are credited automatically and spent in one tap. At Coffee House guests spend 63% of the points they earn, and the number of active guests doubled over the year — from 7.9 to 14.6k per month.
Is this the chain’s own app or a marketplace?
Your own app in the App Store and Google Play — under your brand, with no aggregators and no per-order commission. The guest base (220,728) and the direct channel to it — pushes, stories, promos — stay yours. At Coffee House 91% of digital orders come from iOS.
What does the chain need to get started?
A menu with photos, access to the till system and brand materials — we take on the rest: the app, loyalty, store publication and training the team. We start with pilot sites and scale to the chain: Coffee House already has 57 coffee shops on the platform.
