The Nova switch is more than a mere light controller. It ingeniously integrates a room thermostat and smart switch functionalities into a single, elegant unit. This consolidation simplifies the guest experience and streamlines hotel infrastructure, a key selling point in a competitive market. What particularly caught the judges’ attention was Nova’s commitment to sustainability and aesthetic flexibility.
The switch features interchangeable cover plates available in a range of eco-friendly materials. This allows hotels to customize room interiors and easily replace components without a complete overhaul, aligning with modern principles of circular design and reducing electronic waste. The award underscores a growing trend in the hospitality sector: the fusion of high technology with sophisticated, sustainable design.
Italian company previously awarded “Imprese per Innovazione” by Confindustria in June 2025, now recognized among top 12 most innovative Italian SMEs with over 1 million smart rooms installed across 60 countries.
